Unleash Truth

John 4:23-24

Worship. We are enamored with it. And there’s no wonder why! The feeling of standing in the altar with our hands lifted up while the sweet presence of the Lord engulfs us is unparalleled. There’s a powerful liberation in unashamedly shouting and dancing as a praise to our God. It’s the purest surrender. It’s the expressive representation of our adoration to the Savior. Worshipping changes things in us and around us.

But when we think of worship, we commonly only refer to worshipping in Spirit. Yet the Bible tells us that God is seeking for a generation of worshippers in Spirit AND in truth.

While worshipping in Spirit is often shown much more outwardly, living in the truth is a form of worship that has to start within. Truth must be built and offered from our hearts by digging into the Word and cultivating a knowledge and understanding of what the truth even really is – the God-given, saving Gospel. When we personally catch that revelation, we are obligated to then unleash it. To speak it. Show it. Live it. To go to every part of our world and preach it to every living being (Mark 16:15).

We are challenged by Project 7 to unleash truth. This means we should first challenge ourselves to follow the words of Jesus and worship Him by living in truth so that we can then wholly portray it. For if we don’t know the truth, how can we tell it? If we aren’t living it, who will believe it? The most amazing part of it is that while we are living and unleashing truth to our friends to lead them to salvation, we are also honoring our great God by worshipping Him.

The Father is seeking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Is our love for worshipping in truth just as established as worshipping in Spirit? Can we say that we are completely worshipping the Lord? Are we fully equipped to unleash truth?

Pray: “My entire being lives to worship You, Lord. If there is any part of my life that is not totally worshipping you in Spirit AND in truth, reveal that to me. I want to give all of my life to You and know You through and through so that I can spread Your truth to every person I meet. Let be be a great witness of the Gospel and unleash the truth to the lost souls around me.”
